Growing up in California, one of my first jobs was at a floral shop. I was immediately overcome by the sensory experience of tailor-making arrangements and experimenting with color and contrast. Years later, floristry remained a creative pursuit leading me to graduate from FlowerSchool New York and obtain a Cornell Master Gardener Certificate.
